Plano, TX- 2GO Software Solutions, Inc. has named two experienced North Texas executives to its board of directors. Russell Davis has 40 years of technology experience, while fellow newly appointed board member George Michael has spent decades in the agency side of marketing and public relations. Both board members have founded and led successful businesses. 2GO develops proprietary mobile field technology solutions for companies involved in field, service, transportation and delivery operations.

Davis and Michael join two other board members, Allen Adams, chairman, and Bruce Ballengee, CEO of Parivdea Solutions. “We chose Russell and George strategically because they have both built profitable companies, and each brings a wealth of business and knowledge from their respective industries to 2GO. I am confident their direction will help us grow and continue to make strides in creating market-disruptive mobile technology solutions,” Adams said.

Davis served as president and CEO of IPMobile a pre-IPO wireless software start-up. He was involved in all aspects of developing the company from strategically raising second round financing to negotiating the sale of the business. Additionally, he has held management and executive level positions at high performing technology companies such as Texas Instruments and DSC Communications Corporation.

Michael was responsible for creating two Dallas-based companies. MBRK, an advertising agency, was named one of the top ten in DFW. After selling his first business, he founded Michael & Partners, a public relations firm which was also recognized as one of the top ten PR firms in DFW. He now assists companies, as an independent consultant, with marketing and business development.
