About 2GO
While working as a software engineering consultant, and then manufacturing and selling hand held computers, Anthony Davis was struck that mid-sized companies with field operations were at a severe disadvantage versus large competitors.
The difference seemed to be that big companies could afford to buy enterprise field mobility software, allowing them to manage their people, inventory and vehicles more effectively.
Yet the customer demands for efficiency and service were the same regardless of size.
Anthony began developing field mobility software that mid-sized companies could afford.
He drew on his experience with embedded applications and as a Microsoft software engineer, and combined the platform of existing hand held devices with an emerging trend–cloud computing. Providing field mobility applications as Software as a Service (SaaS) was a true breakthrough–from both a technology and economic standpoint.
The software needed to integrate simply to a company’s existing software, as well as be easy to use by drivers and other non-technology employees. To accomplish this, Anthony spent time in warehouses tracking inventory, in accounting departments documenting billing practices, and most importantly, in trucks assisting drivers as they met their customers, carried out duties and filled out paperwork. Each step of the way, Anthony was sure to address the needs of the business and each employee to better serve their customers.
The first versions of 2GO Software were enthusiastically accepted by both people in and outside the four walls of the organizations. Subsequently versions were enhanced to meet the needs of new users–from field service to transportation to direct store delivery.
Today, 2GO Software meets all the basic requirements of field operators of all sizes and is still flexible enough for customized needs.
The combination of providing enterprise level capabilities on an affordable basis has made 2GO Software the leader in field mobility solutions.
